I had to reread this book because I forgot how the simplified music score was read. This book teaches you how to read simplified music scores and ask you to learn how to count beats in various speed. I had to stop reading this after it gets to the chord part because I don't have any knowledge in music theory. I would recommend this book for those who does have music theory background or have some kind of music background. I had to pick up a music theory book before I can fully understand what this book is talking about. This book pretty much teaches you how to compose Chinese Gu Feng (ancient style) music. I highly recommend it.
